Do I need to set my Time zone?

The simple answer is it is an option, so no you do not need to change it.

If you do change it then all the dates and times you see when you are signed in to the website will be relative to your Time zone, including the Start and End date and times for any items we found for you that are in My Found Stuff.

What cookies are in use with StuffAlert?

Most websites you visit will use cookies. We at StuffAlert use cookies and similar tools across our website to improve the performance and enhance your overall user experience with us.

In May of last year (2011) a new European Union (EU) law (cookie law) came into effect that requires website owners to make changes to their websites. This Cookie Law is amended privacy legislation that requires websites to obtain informed consent from visitors before they can store or retrieve any information on a computer or any other web connected device.

Can StuffAlert be viewed on a mobile (smartphone) device?

The StuffAlert website is designed to be viewed on a Personal Computer (PC) using compatible internet web browsers. We have tested the website on Apple iPad (Safari web browser) and the website functions correctly within this environment.

There are plans to make a mobile version of StuffAlert available that would allow you to access and use the StuffAlert search and alert creation processes easily from a Smartphone (Apple, Android or Blackberry).
